The Joan Mitchell Foundation administers copyright permissions for images of works by Joan Mitchell. All reproductions of work by Joan Mitchell must be accompanied by the credit line © Estate of Joan Mitchell. Additional credit and/or caption text may be required depending on usage and image source.

Please fill out the following as completely as possible.

Please note that if permission for reproduction is granted, the image(s) of the licensed work(s) must be shown in its entirety without cropping, overwriting, bleeding or distortion or any other alteration, unless prior written approval from the Foundation is delivered to the Licensee.

The cover design, details, labeling, credit line, color proofs of works and/or any accompanying copy and text for image(s) must be submitted in print to the Foundation for a review of accuracy and final written approval prior to publication.
